i just checked oakland mayor jean kwan's facebook page.he has an advisory, this is the first time mr. obama has come to oakland as president and she is letting people know that you should probably think about taking public transportation because of demonstrations and changing street closures that will go on throughout the day. president obama had a slight change of plans landing around 8:15 after visiting with families impacted by the tragedy in colorado. he was originally expected here today. first before anything happens in oakland he has a trip to reno where he is speaking, then back to the bay area for three fund-raisers in the east bay including the fox theater protesters supporting medicinal marijuana are upset with crackdowns. also anti-war groups plan to be out as well. supporters of course will be there too for mr. obama. president obama was just here you may recall in early june at a fund-raiser in the city where he raked in about $2 million in just four hours. some groups plan to start demonstrating by city hall as early as 11:0
